Thanks Wolf and nove
Regarding the equiptment, all the via ferrata sets includes the y-cord.
Is there any speciel with them, or could i (as a beginner set) just tie up a rope with snap hooks in each end, and some kind of loop at the middle?

hi mikkel.
almost all of the common manufacturer for mountain and climbing equipment have ferrata-sets on stock.
the most important thing is that you buy a so called Y-set. older versions like the V-set's don't meet current safety standards.
check for CE and/or UIAA safety labels on the equipment.
hooks, ropes, helmets and harnesses come in different versions and sizes, you should try them on to get a feeling with which equipment you feel comfortable.
the best way is to check out the equipment in a professional store for mountain stuff and to get good advise and assistance from the sales person.
