Die Gams Kitz ist eine sehr schöne, einfache Tour durch die Baumlandschaft. Meine Mädels 6 und 9 haben sich hier sehr sicher gefühlt. Wir hatten zuvor die “Zahme Gams” der Kategorie C versucht. Das war noch ein wenig zu viel für die Kleinen. Da waren wir hier auf der Kitz Gams besser aufgehoben. Die Tour liegt etwas weiter abseits, ist aber gut ausgeschildert.
Wir waren auch in der Lamprechtshöhle und eine Klamm (Name leider vergessen). Das ist alles absolut ein Besuch wert. Wir haben gleich das gesamte Wochenende hier verbracht.

Klettersteig ist relativ kurz. Schwierigkeit kommt von der teilweise seltsamen Platzierung der Stifte.

I would like to know if you need additional equipment for any absleining? aka any belay gear? as I only have the usual via ferrata clips and climbing harness, I would like to know if i’d need extra kit for sections.
for abseiling you use normally a figure 8 device together with prusik knot to secure it! And of course you need a rope to rapel down. Beside this you can use your existing climbing harness together with HMS Carabiners. check this video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zheNyTAGukc
