Hello everybody!
I am driving down to the south of Germany ( west of munchen ) next week to do some vias..
I would be very thankful for any tips regarding the nicest area at this time of the yeear..
We'll be climbing thu, fri and sat.. Do we need a special permit or is everything available at the sites?
Once again, very grateful for any info we could get..

Hi Henrik!
Welcome to our forum (perhaps you can here[/url:2o2vpexr] say a few words about your person and your “climbing history”)
I think actually if you want to do Via Ferrata a good place to be is Oetztal… here you can find various Vie Ferrate, like Stuibenfall[/url:2o2vpexr], Lehner Wasserfall or reinhard-Schiestl-Klettersteig. Moreover in nearer area you can find Steinwand Klettersteig and Leite Klettersteig– all via ferrate you can find on ** you do not have permission to see this link ** by using the search function!
For getting ready to climb you just need the right equipment. there is no toll or special opening times at the vie ferrate – so you can come and climb on!
Cheers, Ralf

hi henrik.
do you and your guys already have experience in climbing ferrate?
if yes and you are still planning to travel to a place west of munich, also a trip to the tannheimer tal (friedberger klettersteig, possibly lachenspitze klettersteig) could be an option. in the same area, at oberjoch, you'll find the salewa klettersteig at mt. iseler.
difficulty: salewa and friedberger approx. C, lachenspitze C/D.
greetings,
